The Foscue Plantation regularly welcomes weekend outings from local Boy Scout Troops to utilize the land responsibly with their Scout Leader.

Troops learn about forestry conservation, have an opportunity to kayak from our river landing, and can camp on the property. These are pictures from one of these weekends. If you are interested in reserving a weekend, please contact Steven Long to make arrangements.

Foscue Plantation receives 1824 flag | The Sun Journal of New Bern

By Bill Hand — If you drive past Foscue Plantation on U.S. 17, you may notice that the brand new flag seems short a few stars.
And you would be right — if it was 2017.
But, for anyone tramping the grounds, it isn’t 2017. The year presented at the historic plantation house is 1824, the year it was built and so, according to Foscue Plantation, the flag is just right.
